Choosing a way to mount:
Our GPS units can be mounted in various places on snowmobiles using our model specific mount or our adjustable RAM mount. If you have a glovebox extension or some type of vertical surface, we advise you use our cradle clip mount. For SxS or snowmobiles that don’t have a verticle place to mount, look at our RAM mount option, as that is a drill-down mount, and can be mounted on a horizontal or vertical surface with a couple of bolts, and has a swivel ball mount for any angle you need from drivers or passenger seat. We also offer a handlebar RAM mount for ATV’s or Motorcycles (Purchased separately).
Additional Power supply Info:
For snowmobiles: Especially newer ones with batteries, your system is already producing 12v DC. One option is to power your GPS with our hardwire kit by tapping into key ignition power on your wire harness. That way every time you turn off your machine it will automatically cutoff power to your GPS and have no chance of draining battery. This does require some mechanical capabilities and electrical experience, which is why we are happy to help with installation if you are local! Your other option for snowmobiles w/ battery is a 12v power port that is plug-n-play to your stock wire harness. That being said, we only carry the skidoo brand harness kits for snowmobiles, so if you have a Polaris, Cat, or Yamaha, you may purchase a 12v port separately and us our standard car charger with it or refer to our hardwire kit. If you have an older machine with no battery or power port like described above, take a look at our high capacity battery pack, which can power the GPS and also be used to charge phone. Vehicles that do not have a battery do not produce the correct DC voltage for a Garmin GPS. That is when the battery pack is needed.
SxS and ATV’s: The beautiful thing about these machines, is most come with a 12v power port/cigarette lighter port from the factory! So when purchasing a GPS, you can purchase just the unit itself and a standard car charger, and that will plug straight into your stock machine. If you have an older machine with no battery or power port like described above, take a look at our high capacity battery pack, which can power the GPS and also be used to charge phone. Vehicles that do not have a battery do not produce the correct DC voltage for a Garmin GPS. That is when the battery pack is needed.
What makes our GPS’s weather resistant?:
We use a special sealant system that is sure to protect your screen, battery, and motherboard from the outdoor elements. With our sealing system applied, your GPS will handle being put through snow, dirt, dust, and more that is thrown its way; however, these units are not designed to be fully submersible in water. They are weather-resistant, not waterproof! Our GPS units come with a one year warranty. If a case ever presents itself, proof of purchase will be required, and buyer will be responsible for shipping costs. Upon inspection of internal GPS contents, we will reply back as soon as possible with a solution if there is ever a problem.

FREE SHIPPING! Arrival to your door step takes between 7-14 business days as we need to customize and prepare your order! We try the best we can to create the best experience for our customers, but sometimes we wait on parts too! When it comes to returns, this is a case to case basis. Unfortunately, when you purchase a GPS, we need to pre-download maps onto it, making it kind of “customized.” So we do not normally allow returns of the GPS unit themselves. That being said, contact us by email (sparkfabrications22@gmail.com) or the “Contact Us” tab on our website and let us know what’s going on, and we will try and work with you!
